Apricots, Blueberries, and Stories

This morning I finally wrestled the remnants of  last year's bird netting out of my apricot tree.  The widow's veil has been cast off, and

the first blossom has opened.

The blueberries are flowering too

and tonight I teach a memoir workshop.

Let there be apricots, blueberries, and stories.

  1. Oh,stop counting money in front of the poor. All our fruit trees are covered with frost blankets, photos on my blog. It is snowing and even the Meyer lemons in the greenhouse look as if they are shivering.

I am happy for you, someone has to enjoy the beauty of these generous fruits. And I am sure tonight would be one to remember for those learning from you. Break a leg, but only in the figurative sense.

It's a weird way to have a conversation. But go ahead. Then I'll find your blog (if you have one) and comment about something there. We probably won't be talking about the same thing--but I've had conversations like that, haven't you?
