The Trump Victory Tour a.k.a. Thanksgiving


Every place I visit in the next few days, it's quite likely there will be Trump voters present.

Yesterday I drove for 6 and a half hours at a top speed of 30 miles per hour.

Today traffic moved faster. The desert glittered with years of litter.  A couple of the roadsigns were pocked with bullet holes.

I hope Thanksgiving dinner is utterly and completely delicious.

    Arizona? It looks like AZ. I met a Trump supporter the other day, my first. It was all I could do to keep from saying "you're dead to me." I hope your Thanksgiving will be delicious.

    I personally dread it as my very conservative parents are coming. That it will be awkward is an understatement. I'm not sure I'll be able to eat, to tell you the truth.

    At least my family is wildly liberal. And we're good cooks. So. Thanksgiving will be fine for us.

It's a weird way to have a conversation. But go ahead. Then I'll find your blog (if you have one) and comment about something there. We probably won't be talking about the same thing--but I've had conversations like that, haven't you?
