I leave for another writer's residency in a few hours and for the first time since July of '07, I leave the City of Angels reluctantly."Now is all we get, ever." This is what a person I like very much says.
Now I am in L.A.
Tomorrow I will be somewhere else.
But NOW--tonight--I am here.

Have fun at your writer's residency. Those always sound so... lovely. Except when you have to go somewhere with horrid weather, of course!
